Day 1

Cannock Chase

Sheldon Rd Dance Troupe
Saturday Party  - who invited the ducks?
Thank you to Sheldon Road Church for a great send off last weekend.. No sign of any ducks, hopefully we have left them behind either at church or with Mike who is minding the house whilst we are away.

House for sale!
We set off this morning after casting our votes (2 hours left for you to vote if haven't already!) - by the time we return we will have a different political landscape!

Travelling to Cannock Chase was good, wet but the wind has dropped, good thing when you are towing a caravan! -  A quick stop at the new Gloucester (Farm Shop) Service Station who were celebrating their first birthday, customers invited to join in but we settled for a cup of coffee.

Lovely forest campsite, Anne was soon drinking tea again!
Tomorrow we set off for Mow Cop and Englesea Brook - home of Primitive Methodism. A good place to start our main tour as The Primitive Methodists played an important part in early Trade Unions. One of the radical features of the 'Prims' was the value they placed on women lay preachers.

Sorry just over an hour to vote now.. need to speed up these posts
